The only golf course in all of Guyana is at the Lusignan Golf Course, in Gerogetown. Lusignan is a small village that is sustained via farming. You will dive right in to the Guyana culture when visiting Lusignan.
The Guyana climate is very favorable for golfers. The weather is a tropical; hot and humid. If you are traveling to the coast avoid the rainy seasons April to August and November to January. If you are traveling inland avoid April to September.

Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
